Miss Lucille Boeldt Becomes Bride Of Herbert Zimmermann
The wedding of Miss Lucille Boeldt, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Herbert Boeldt,
Sheboygan Falls, route 1, and Herbert Zimmermann, son of Mr. and Mrs. Henry
Zimmermann, Sheboygan Falls, route 3, was solemnized at 3 p.m. today in
Trinity Lutheran church, town Wilson, the Rev. Julius Wagner performing the
ceremony.
Four attendants preceded the bride to the altar. Miss Evelyn Dyke, as maid
of honor, was attired in a taffeta gown of iris blue. Her veil fell from a
tiara and her flowers were pink pompons and blue chrysanthemums. The
bridesmaids, Misses Bernice and Beatrice Bogen, cousins of the bridegroom,
chose satin dresses of raisin shade. They had gold headbands in their hair
and carried wine colored chrysanthemums and yellow pompons. A peach colored
dress was worn by the junior bridesmaid, Hildegarde Boeldt, cousin of the
bride, who carried a colonial bouquet.
White satin fashioned the bride's gown, styled with insets of lace. Lace
also edged her fingertip veil which was held in place by a tiara ornamented
with orange blossoms. In her arms she carried white chrysanthemums, white
pompons and pink roses.
Attending the bridegroom as best man was Eugene Koene. Russel Boeldt,
brother of the bride, and Orville Boeldt, another brother of the bride, was a
junior groomsman. Reuben Boeldt and Edward Fritsch attended as ushers.
Music for the wedding service was played by Lois Wagner.
A 5:30 p.m. supper will be served to about 40 guests at the home of the bride's parents. This evening a dance will be held at Dreamland ballroom. Mr. Zimmermann and his bride will reside with the bridegroom's parents at their farm home.
