Couple Married Recently Now Residing In City

Mr. and Mrs. Ronald A. Zastrow, whose marriage took place Sept. 14 at St. Gregory's Catholic Church, St. Nazianz, are back from a wedding trip in eastern states and Michigan and are now residing at 926-C Erie Ave. The former Miss Zita Marie Meyer, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John F. Meyer, Rt. 1, Valders, exchanged vows with the son of Mr. and Mrs. Arthur Zastrow, Rt. 1, Sheboygan, in a nuptial high mass celebrated at 10 a.m. by the Rev. Dennis Cooney. The church choir with Paul Vavachek as soloist, sang the mass. Fashioned of lace and tulle, the bride's gown had a sabrina neckline, embroidered with iridescent sequins, and a full skirt with three panels of lace down the front and sides. A cascade of alternating lace and tulle ruffles extended down the back into a whisper train. A lace cap, edged and embroidered in seed pearls, held her fingertip illusion veil. She carried a satin-covered prayer book with a white orchid surrounded by stephanotis. The bride's twin sister, Miss Rita M. Meyer, Rt. 1, Valders, attending as maid of honor, wore a green net gown styled with a full skirt of fashioned tiny ruffles from the waist to the floor and an overskirt of net detailed with a scattering of rhinestone studded lace. The closely fitted bodice had a spray of lace down one side and over her shoulders, she wore a small taffeta shrug. The tiny crown, fashioned of handrolled tulle petals, completed her attire, and she carried yellow gladioli surrounded by yellow carnations.

The two bridesmaids, Mrs. Roland Launer, sister of the bridegroom, and Mrs. Donald Perronne, Rt. 17, Sheboygan Falls, wore duplicates of the honor attendant's dress in wood violet shade. Their flowers were similar to the maid of honor's bouquet.

Pink frocks were worn by the two flower girls, Dorothy Schermetzler, Rt. 1, Manitowoc, niece of the bride, and Susan Wilharms, niece of the bridegroom. Their dresses were made with skirts of deeply flounced lace with net overskirts and deeply ruffled net berthas. In their hair, they wore tiny matching bands. They carried baskets of pink and white carnations. Best man was Eugene Truttschel, Rt. 1, Sheboygan, and groomsmen were Wayne Zaswoc, brother-in-law of the bride, and Roland Launer, the bridegroom's brother-in-law.

The church service was followed by a wedding dinner for 50 guests at the St. Nazianz Opera House and in the evening a reception and wedding supper were held at Gretz's at Cleveland for 300 relatives and friends.

Mr. Zastrow is an employee of the Kohler Co., and his bride is employed at Plant 1 of the Aluminum Goods, Two Rivers.
