Miss Beverly Mae Kunert Is Bride Of Frank Stauber

Miss Beverly Mae Kunert became the bride of Frank Stauber Jr. in a 2:30 o'clock ceremony on Saturday, Aug. 29, at St. John's Evangelical and Reformed Church. The Rev. August Grollmus was officiant of the service in which the daughter of Mrs. Emma Kunert, 1429 Virginia Ave., and the son of Mr. and Mrs. Frank Stauber, Rt. 1, Sheboygan, were principals.

Given in marriage by her brother, Orville Kunert, the bride was attired in a gown of net over satin with a square neckline, long lace sleeves which came to points at the wrists and tiers of lace in the front. She had a fingertip veil of net and lace. A bouquet of white gladioli with a rose corsage and ivy in the center was carried by the bride.

Maid of honor for her sister was Miss Diane Kunert. Her garb was a yellow ballerina-length dress of pleated net with a lace bodice and matching bolero. Pink gladioli comprised the bouquet she held. Another sister, Miss Vivian Kunert, Miss Betsy Zimmerman and Miss Alvera Debbink were in bridesmaid roles and donned similar gowns in a green shade. They held bouquets of yellow gladioli. A niece of the bridegroom, Gloria Kossman, was a miniature bride and wore a white dress of flowing net and taffeta. She held a colonial bouquet. The rings were brought to the altar attached to a cane by Bruce Kunert, nephew of the bride.

Roger Williams was the best man and the groomsmen were Floyd Stauber, brother of the bridegroom, Richard Zwart and James Rammer. Those who served as ushers were Donald Kunert, brother of the bride, and Fred Stauber, similarly related to the bridegroom.

Croatian Hall was the scene of a reception for about 500 relatives and friends. Music was provided by Don Kraemer's orchestra. Dinner was served to 35 guests at the Johnnie Fox Place. Guests came from Milwaukee, Watertown, Richwood, Beloit and Waterloo.

Beginning Monday, following a trip to Fay Lake, the newlyweds are at home at 2309-A Main Ave. The former Miss Kunert was graduated from Central High School and is a Kohler Co. employe. Her husband works for Miller and Bartzen Meat Market.
