Miss Janet Kay Butgereit Marries Thomas Allen Part

Geno's Top of the First was the scene of a dinner and reception Saturday evening for more than 100 guests who attended the 4:30 o'clock wedding that day of Miss Janet Kay Butgereit and Thomas Allen Part.

Their nuptial service was performed at Bethlehem Lutheran Church. Officiating clergymen were the Rev. Jakob K. Heckert and the Rev. Lowell F. Thomas of Concordia Lutheran Church at Fort Wayne, Ind. The Rev. Joel Kuznik of Fort Wayne was organist for the occasion.

Northern Wisconsin is the honeymoon locale for the newlyweds, whose parents are Mr. and Mrs. Edwin Butgereit, 1258 Oakland Ave., and Mr. and Mrs. Frank Part, 3323 S. 18th St.

Both the bride and bridegroom are graduates of South High School. The former Miss Butgereit has a B.S. degree in medical technology from Lakeland College, which she received in 1969. She had been employed as a technologist at Caylor-Nickel Clinic in Bluffton, Ind.

Mr. Part, currently a student at Concordia Seminary, St. Louis, Mo., will be vicar at Golden Valley Lutheran Church, Minneapolis, Minn., for one year beginning in August. He will complete his studies at the seminary the following year.

Miss Elizabeth Erickson came from Milwaukee to be maid of honor for her former roommate. The bridegroom's sister, Miss Sandra Part, was bridesmaid, and the junior attendant was Miss Susan Thomas, niece of the bride. Another niece, Cynthia Thomas, was flower girl.

As best man, the bridegroom chose a former roommate, James Guelzow, Fort Lauderdale, Fla. Another former roommate, Robert Heiliger, St. Louis, Mo., was groomsman. Duties of ushering were performed by Thomas Ashworth, Sheboygan Falls, and Thomas Schmelter.
