Miss Anna Riemer; Hubert Zimmerman; United Saturday
Miss Anna Riemer, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Richard Riemer, 1918 S. Fourteenth
street, and Hubert Zimmermann, son of Mr. and Mrs. Louis Zimmermann, 2219 S.
Sixteenth, were united in marriage Saturday afternoon at 3 o'clock at the
parsonage of the Immanuel Lutheran church. Rev. Edward Krause performed the
marriage ceremony.
The bride wore a gown of white satin trimmed with lace and pearls. Her tulle veil was caught with pearls, and she carried ophelia roses and swansonia arranged in a shower bouquet. The bride's sister, Miss Emma Riemer, who acted as a bridesmaid, wore a dress of peach colored organdie. Her flowers were an arm bouquet of carnations. The groom was attended by his brother, Arno Zimmermann.
A reception was held after the ceremony at the home of the bride's parents.
An elaborate wedding dinner was served to the immediate relatives and a few
intimate friends of the couple. Cut flowers were used as decorations in the
home. The color scheme was pink and white. A large wedding cake formed the
centerpiece of the dinner table and over the cake a large wedding bell was
suspended from the ceiling.
Mr. and Mrs. Hubert Zimmermann will be at home to their friends at 1214 S.
Thirteenth street. Among out-of-town guests present for the wedding were:
Mr. and Mrs. Edgar Becker and son, Edmund, Campellsport, Mr. and Mrs. George
Zimmermann, Milwaukee. Mr. and Mrs. Zimmermann have the best wishes of a
host of friends.
