Miss Doris Grunwald And Carl H. Mueller Are Married

Miss Doris B. Grunwald and Carl H. Mueller repeated vows in a 3 o'clock ceremony that was held Saturday afternoon in St. Paul's Lutheran Church, Millersville.

The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Ewald Grunwald, Route 1, Sheboygan Falls, and her father escorted her down the church aisle and presented her in marriage to the son of Mr. and Mrs. Henry Mueller, Route 1, Sheboygan.

An aunt of the bridegroom, Mrs. Milford Henning, was organist for the service that was read by the Rev. Henry Meyer. The church choir sang, "O Perfect Love" and "Jesus, Lead Thou On."

Flowers and candles adorned the altar and the first pews were marked with white carnations.

A gown of white starched nylon sheer, designed with a pointed basque, was worn by the bride. The trimming was jewel-studded lace, which formed the scoop neckline. Short shirred sleeves with mitts were other details. The very full, floor-length skirt had jeweled lace trim. The half hat of lace and pearls that completed her wedding attire secured her fingertip veil of illusion. She carried a white prayer book on which a lavender orchid with streamers was placed.

Cousin of the bride, Miss Joyce Grunwald, Milwaukee, maid of honor, appeared in an aqua, floor-length dress of starched nylon over net. The neckline was scooped and matching mitts were worn. Braided nylon and net were used for the headpiece. Deep pink carnations in crescent shape were her flowers. Besides the maid of honor, there were two bridesmaids, Miss Helen Henning, the bridegroom's cousin, and Miss Ione Muetzelburg. Their dresses were in duplicate style but were in a yellow shade and their flowers were in that color also.

Two nieces of the bride were chosen by her for flower girls, Marjean Grunwald and Betty Lou Grunwald. Their aqua dresses were similar in design to what the others wore and their flowers were pink carnations in colonial bouquets. Others in the wedding party were Marvin Scheibl, best man, Levi Rummeling, Marion, Wis., and Dale Senglaub, the bride's cousin, groomsmen, and two ushers, Harold Grunwald, brother of the bride, and Robert Mueller, the bridegroom's cousin.

Five hundred guests were entertained at a buffet supper and reception that was held at Laack's Hall, Johnsonville, between 5 and 8 o'clock. They came from Sturgeon Bay, Forestvillle, Algoma, Green Bay, Thiensville, Milwaukee and Marion, Wis.

Western states, Yellowstone National Park and the Black Hills are on the itinerary for the wedding trip of two weeks. Several relatives and friends will be visited en route.

Until September, the couple will reside with the bride's parents and after that date, will be living in Ames, Ia., where Mr. Mueller will continue his education at Iowa State College. He was graduated in 1951 from Central High School and has had two years at the college. A similar length of time was spent in the U.S. Army and he was stationed in Germany. Millersville Box Co. is the place of employment during the summer months. The former Miss Grunwald received her diploma from Plymouth High School in 1955 and this year completed her studies at Sheboygan County Teachers College.
