Miss Carolyn Kotnik And Raymond Gottsacker Wed

Prior to an 11 a.m. nuptial high mass, celebrated Tuesday morning by the Rev. John Cullen in St. Clement's church, Miss Carolyn Kotnik became the bride of Raymond Gottsacker. Parents of the couple were seated in front pews, and are Mr. and Mrs. Frank Kotnik, 1802 N. Twelfth street, and Mr. and Mrs. Raymond Gottsacker, 821 Logan avenue.

Mrs. John Dyer came from Chicago to be matron of honor, and Miss Kathleen Peternel, from Milwaukee, to be bridesmaid. Duties of best man were assumed by Douglas Dahm of Port Washington, and Bruce Campbell of Milwaukee served as groomsman. Both are former classmates of the bridegroom. Guests were ushered by Paul Fox, Jr., the bridegroom's cousin, and Clemens Sonntag, another classmate.

Music for the nuptials was provided by Miss Mary Sullivan, who sang "Ave Maria," "Panis Angelicus," and "On This Day, O Beautiful Mother."

Sixty guests had a dinner at Wegner's Heidelberg club, and the reception for 250 relatives and friends was held at the same place, between three and five o'clock.

Those coming from away for the marriage were Mrs. Patrick Shehy, Manitowoc, Mr. and Mrs. Howard Benning, Mr. and Mrs. Frank Curro and Patsy and Mr. and Mrs. Walter Mollenhauer, Milwaukee; Mr. and Mrs. Harvey Borkenhagen, Lansing, Mich.; William Domann, Menomonee Falls; Jay Keepman, Janesville; Miss Helen Lund, Viroqua; Misses Cay and Virginia Tinuta, Kenosha, and Bruce Burrows, Fond du Lac.

A graduate of the University of Wisconsin, where she majored in occupational therapy, the former Miss Kotnik recently completed her psychiatric affiliation in Ypsilante, Mich., and will complete her internship at pediatric and orthopedic hospitals in Milwaukee. In June Mr. Gottsacker will be graduated from an electrical engineering course at the University of Wisconsin. He is a member of Kappa Eta Kappa, national electrical engineering fraternity.
