Miss Meggers Is Recently Married To Fred Woepse

The parsonage of the Immanuel Lutheran church was the scene of the marriage ceremony performed at 5 o'clock on the afternoon of Feb. 19, when Miss Ruth Meggers pledged her nuptial vows with Fred Woepse, son of Mr. and Mrs. William Woepse, 338 Orchard road, Kohler.

As her wedding costume the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John Meggers, R. 3, Sheboygan, chose an aqua suit with a brown topper and matching accessories. A corsage of talisman roses complimented her attire.

Miss LaVerne Reineking, a cousin of the bridegroom, was her attendant. John Meggers, the bride's brother, was the best man.

At 6:30 o'clock a dinner was served at Rudy's Club Moderene. Approximately 250 relatives and friends attended the reception there in the evening. After a short wedding trip to Chicago, Mr. and Mrs. Woepse are now residing at 2228 S. Fifteenth street.

The bride, a graduate of Central High school and the Sheboygan County Normal school, is employed as office manager of the Ross Glove company. Mr. Woepse is an employe at the Manitowoc Shipyards, and was graduated from the Kohler High school and the Milwaukee School of Engineering.
