Miss Jankow And Marvin Gosse Are Wedded Saturday
Wearing a white moire taffeta gown with a long train, Miss Esther Jankow,
daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Charles Jankow, route 3, Sheboygan, exchanged
wedding vows at 2:30 p.m. Saturday with Marvin Gosse, son of Mr. and Mrs.
John Gosse, route 3, Sheboygan Falls. The ceremony was read by the Rev. J.A.
Wagner in Trinity Lutheran church, town of Wilson.
With her gown the bride wore a veil which was fastened to a cap, set with
pearls, and a gold locket, as a gift from the bridegroom. She carried an arm
bouquet of white gladioli and pompons.
The maid of honor, Miss Ruth Wagner, and the bridesmaid, Miss Virginia Back,
were dressed alike in blue moire taffeta gowns. Their flowers were arm
bouquets of pink gladioli, snapdragons and pompons. Flowers were also worn
in their hair.
A brother of the bridegroom, Arleigh Gosse, was the best man and a brother of
the bride, Harvey Jankow, was groomsman.
Music for the service was played by Lois Wagner.
With decorations in blue and white, a wedding dinner was served at 6 p.m. at
the home of the bride's parents, for 40 guests. Out-of-town guests were
Elmer Hetzel of DeRidder, La.; Mr. and Mrs. Fred Gosse and children, Gilbert
and Evelyn, Elkhart Lake; Mr. and Mrs. Jacob Hetzel, Cleveland; Mr. and Mrs.
Edwin Zenglaub and children, Gloriana and Edward, Cascade.
