At 9:30 o'clock, Miss Lucille Heraty, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Heraty
of Mitchell, and Benno A. Wifler were united in marriage at St. Michael's
church, Rev. Father Hoog performing the ceremony.
The bride was attired in a blue taffeta suit with a hat to match and wore a
corsage bouquet of tea roses and sweet peas. Mary Gaynor, cousin of the
bride, acted as bridesmaid and wore a taffeta changeable silk dress with a
corsage bouquet of tea roses and sweet peas. Louis Wifler, brother of the
groom acted as best man.
The bride and groom were classmates, both graduating with the class of
1913. The bride has been a successful school teacher, teaching in Greenbush
and Mitchell for the past five years and has been very popular with the
younger set. The groom gave up his profession as teacher some time ago and
is now manufacturing cheese near this city.
The young couple took a brief wedding trip to Chicago and other points and
will be at home to their many friends in Plymouth some time next month.
Those from away who attended were, Mrs. L. C. Ziegler and son Cletus of
Adell and Mr. and Mrs. Ed. Eigenberger and daughter Eunice of Milwaukee.
