STOLTZMANN, August W. - HORNECK, Anna

{Note from Debie. The wedding took place on June 16, 1909}

A PRETTY WEDDING

On last Wednesday Miss Anna Horneck, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. George W. Horneck of Rhine village was married to Mr. August W. Stoltzmann. The ceremony was performed at the home of the bride's parents by Rev. Mr. Zeh. Miss Bertha Hornek, sister of the bride, acted as maid of honor, and Miss Lilly Stoltzmann was bridesmaid; while Mr. Fred Stoltzmann acted as best man and Herbert Horneck as groomsman. The party made an exceedingly attractive appearance as it stood amid a bower of carnations, white bridal roses and ferns, the decorations of the parlor. The bride was attired in a gown of white satin and she held cream-colored roses; the maid of honor wore a blue satin gown and carried white carnations; and the bridesmaid was dressed in white silk and her flowers were white carnations.

The house was prettily trimmed. The reception room trimmed with snowballs and carnations and ferns lent their beauty to make attractive the dining room.

A reception followed the ceremony which took place at five o'clock in the afternoon. These young ladies acted as maitrede Misses Marie Menne, Meta Bethke and Ella Horneck.

The union is a most auspicious one, and both of the young people are worthy of the esteem and respect in which they are held. Mr. Stoltzmann is the son of Mr. and Mrs. A. W. Stoltzmann of Sheboygan. He is a railway mail clerk and has a run on the Northwestern between Chicago and Fond du Lac. He is a young man of excellent character as well as one of ability. The bride was one of the earnest and efficient teachers of Sheboygan county. She was a favorite among the young people of Rhine by whom she will be greatly missed.

Mr. and Mrs. Stoltzmann will reside in Fond du Lac where they will be at home to their friends after August 1, at 43 South Boardman street.
