SKELTON-HANAHAN NUPTIALS

After a courtship of nearly ten years with cupid on the job at all times braving the oppositions that occurred and meeting with domestic difficulties which would discourage a less resolute twain, cupid at last won out, for on last Thursday at high noon the consummation of that happy compact was effected and the marriage of the immediate participants, Mrs. Alice Hanahan of Green Bay, but formerly of the town of Mitchell, and William Skelton, one of the substantial farmers of the town of Mitchell, were quietly married at Cascade, Rev. David Regan, pastor of St. Mary's church officiating. The happy couple were attended in the trying ordeal by John Skelton, nephew of the groom, and Mrs. Elizabeth Skelton, sister-in-law of the groom.

Mr. Skelton has been twice married before and Mrs. Hanahan once before. The groom is seventy-five years of age, while the bride, is past sixty. They are very old residents of Sheboygan County, and lived in the town of Mitchell most of the time. They were always good, hard working, industrious people, who will now share each others love and sorrows for the brief time that will be allotted to people of their ages. The couple has a fine farm, where the couple will reside. Mrs. Skelton had been making her home with her son John Hanahan in Green Bay who is a conductor on the St. Paul railroad, but who has recently been married.

The REPORTER extends congratulations.
