This evening one of Plymouth's most popular young men becomes a benedict.
Mr. H. J. Rooney will be united in marriage to Miss Emma Meyer, daughter of
Mr. and Mrs. Martin Meyer. The wedding will take place at the home of the
bride's parents, two and one half miles west of town. Rev. Father Meyer of
St. John's Catholic church, will pronounce the words which will make them
man and wife. Miss Adelaide Gohr will be maid of honor, and Miss Agnes
Rooney, sister of the groom, will be bridesmaid. Mr. Frank Rooney, of
Seymour, cousin of the groom, will be best man.
Both are well known young people and their many friends wish them much
happiness. The wedding presents are numerous and beautiful. They will go
to housekeeping at once in Mrs. Clark's residence on Caroline sreet (sic),
where Mr. Rooney has fitted up a nice home.
