MITCHELL (1910)

A PRETTY WEDDING

St. Matthew's Catholic church Milwaukee was the scene of a pretty wedding Tuesday morning, May 24th, when Miss Frances Murphy youngest daughter of Mr. and Mrs P.H. Murphy of Mitchell and Henry Denesus, of Kaukauna were united in marriage by Father Ryan of Milwaukee. The couple was attended by Miss Nell Murphy as maid of honor and Miss Catherine Kilcoin of Kaukauna as bridesmaid. Edward Murphy, brother of the bride acted as best man and Andrew Kilcoin cousin of the groom as groomsman. The bride wore a gown of white lace and ribbon over white net, and carried maiden hair ferns and sweet peas. The maid of honor was dressed in white lace and embroidery and the bridesmaid in tan silk and both carried pink and white carnations.

A reception followed at the home of the bride's sister, Mrs. George Kolb where a bountiful dinner was served.

Mr. and Mrs. Denesus enjoyed a wedding trip to Mitchell where they visited her parents and also to Appleton and Kaukauna. They are at home in Milwaukee, where the groom is a motorman on a street car.

A large number of friends wish them much joy and happiness in their journey through life.
