O'CONNELL, Andrew L. - HUGHES, Cassie

(A very) pretty wedding was solemnized at St. Michael's church Tuesday morning, June 25, 1907, when Father Hughes united in the holy bonds of wedlock, Miss Cassie Hughes and Andrew O'Connell, both of this town.

Promptly at 10 o'clock the bridal party entered the church when Rev. Father Hughes, cousin of the bride, performed the beautiful and impressive ceremony which made the happy couple one for life. The bride looked beautiful in a creation of Chiffon and lace over white silk. She wore a bridal veil and carried a white prayer book while Miss Margaret Hughes sister of the bride, as bridesmaid, was attired in white organdie and wore a large white picture hat and carried a bouquet of American beauty roses. Dr. Jim O'Connell brother of the groom acted as groomsman. At the conclusion of the ceremony, the wedding party repaired the home (this is exactly as it is in clipping - K.R.) of the bride where a delicious dinner was served and a reception held from noon until four o'clock. About seventy relatives of the contracting parties were present and a few intimate friends.

The home was beautifully decorated with a profusion of flowers, smilax and festoons. The day was happily spent in conversation, music and singing. Mr. and Mrs. O'Connell took the train at Plymouth for an extended trip east and expect to be at home after July 10th. Both young people are well and favorably known here. The bride, residing here since childhood is one of Mitchell's most estimable and accomplished young ladies, while the groom is one of Beechwood's prosperous (Article cut off
