A PRETTY WEDDING
The marriage of Mr. Joseph Naughton of Waukesha and Miss Frankie Gill of
Cascade tool place at the St. Mary's church in Cascade on Wednesday morning,
February 10, 1915, at nine o'clock, Rev. Father Hoog officiating. The
couple were attended by Mr. and Mrs. James Gill of Mitchell. Many friends
attended the wedding at the church.
Following the ceremony at the church a reception was given at the home of
the bride's mother, Mrs. Thomas Gill of Cascade. Just the near relatives
were in attendance. An elaborate supper was served.
The groom is on of the substantial and thrifty young farmers of Waukesha,
but formerly of Mitchell, while the bride is one of Cascade's most
attractive young ladies. Mr. and Mrs. Naughton are much respected young
people and have many friends who join with the writer in tendering to them
best wishes for a bright and successful voyage through life.
Mr. and Mrs. Naughton took the afternoon train at Plymouth for their new
home in Waukesha.
NAUGHTON, Joseph - GILL, Frances
The marriage of Miss Frances Gill to Joe Naughton of Waukesha was solemnized
at St. Mary's church in this village on Wednesday Feb. 10 at 9:00 o'clock.
They were attended by Mr. and Mrs. Jas. Gill of Mitchell. The bride was
attired in a handsome suit of sand color with a hat to match. After the
ceremony, a wedding breakfast was served at the home of the bride. Mr. and
Mrs. Naughton left on the afternoon train for their new home near Waukesha,
where the groom is a prosperous farmer. Miss Gill was a popular Cascade
lady and the hearty wishes for her future happiness are extended to her by
hosts of friends. The groom formerly lived in Mitchell and also has many
friends in Cascade and vicinity.
