This Marriage was contributed by: Kay

(Can not read first line) town of Mitchell, Rev. Father Hoog read the vows uniting Miss Anna Beggan and Edward Cooney in the holy bonds of matrimony. Following the ceremony the couple repaired to the home of the bride's mother, Mrs. Anna Beggan, where a reception was held for the immediate relatives and intimate friends. A sumptuous wedding dinner was served, the Misses Mabel and Della King, Anna and Francis (sic) Corbett and Mabel and Edith Brown served the delicious viands. Following the reception the couple departed on the afternoon for Chicago and other points where they will spend their honeymoon. The home was prettily decorated for the occasion, a color scheme of white and yellow being carried out in the parlor, while in the dining room pink and white crepe paper, artistically arranged and a white bell, lent color to the scene. Pink and white carnations, smilax and ferns were utilized in the table decorations and completed a decorative scheme that was both artistic and beautiful. The groom is the son of Patrick Cooney and is well known in this vicinity, as is the bride and the mating is said to be an ideal one. The couple will spend some time away but on their return will reside on the farm of the groom's father in the town of Mitchell. They will be at home to their many friends after Feb 15th.
