Butgereit-Thomas Nuptials Held On Saturday

Colorado will be the state in which a couple wed Saturday afternoon - Mr. and Mrs. Judson Eugene Thomas - will reside. The bride is the former Miss Arlene Lois Butgereit, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Edwin O. Butgereit, 1258 Oakland Ave. Vows were repeated by the couple in Bethlehem Lutheran Church at 2 p.m. and the Rev. Rudolph Sheffel was the officiant. William Bopf played for the service.

A rust-colored suit, trimmed in mink, was the bride's attire. The fur also was used on the hat that was styled with a veil. She had an orchid corsage. Her father presented her in marriage to the son of Mr. and Mrs. George H. Thomas, R. 3, Stoughton, Wis.

Mrs. Roger Brown, the matron of honor, and her husband, the best man, were the only attendants.

Dinner was served at The Hoffmann's at Riverdale for parents and relatives of the couple as well as the two who comprised the wedding party. Guests came from Marengo, Ill., Madison and Stoughton.

After a trip to northern Wisconsin, the couple will be located in Colorado by Oct. 1. The bride is a registered nurse, her husband works for the telephone company.
