(Our Lady) of the Angels church at (?) was the scene of one of (?) wedding parties of the sea(son) (on) Wednesday morning at 9:30 o'clock, when Miss Anna O'Connor be(came) the bride of William McEssy and Miss Elsie O'Connor was united in marriage to John Foy by Rev. (?)anster. The double wedding attracted more than usual attention throughout that section of the county and in consequence the church was (filled) with hundreds of admiring relatives and friends of the bridal couples. Nuptial high mass was celebrated during the ceremony, the service being very impressive and solemn. Ethel Coyne and Clara Bowser were the flower girls.

After the ceremony at the church an elaborate reception and banquet was held at the home of the mother of the brides, Mrs. Barbara O'Connor of the town of Osceola. The young couples were kept busy for several hours in receiving the felicitations of their many friends who filled the house to overflowing. The repast served was very elaborate and choice.

(Man)y handsome, as well as useful (gifts) were received by the young peo(ple), one entire room being used in (which) to exhibit them. Both brides (are) well known and enjoy the respect (and) esteem of many friends. Mr. and Mrs. Foy will make their home on a (?) in Forest and Mr. and Mrs. Mc(Essy) will reside on West Scott street, (about) three quarters of a mile west of (the city), where a handsome residence (has) been prepared by the groom.
