MITCHELL

A very pretty wedding occurred at St. Michael's Catholic church (at) (?) o'clock, Tuesday morning, (June) 18th, 1907, when Miss Lydia (Murphy), oldest daughter of Mr. and (Mrs.) P. H. Murphy became the (bride) of Geo. L. Kolb of Milwaukee. (Rev.) Father Burke pronouncing the (nuptials) which made the happy (couple) one for life. The bride was (attended) by her cousin, Miss Katie (?Linds)ay as maid of honor and (Miss) Nellie Murphy, sister of the (bride), as bridesmaid. The groom (was) attended by his brother, Irvin (Ko)lb of Nebraska, while Robert (Lin)dsay acted as groomsman. The bride was charmingly attired in a (beau)tiful gown of white silk mull, (and) wore a bridal veil and carried (a) white prayer book. The dresses (of the) bridesmaids were of white (?) and their bouquets of white (roses?) and smilax. At the con(clusion) of the ceremony the wed(ding) party repaired to the home of (the) bride where a delicious dinner (was) served to relatives of the con(tracting) parties only. The home (was) beautifully decorated with a (?profu)sion of flowers, smilax and (?)ons.

(Mr.) and Mrs. Kolb took the (train) at Plymouth for an extended (trip) and expect to be at home in (Milw)aukee after July 10th. The (bride) is a popular young lady of (?)ing appearance and has the (best?) wishes of many friends, who (kno)w her. Mr. Kolb, though not well known here is respected by (those) who have met him. Useful gifts were received.
