KLAHN, Arthur - COONEY, Irabel (Isabel)

COONEY-KLAHN

On Wednesday morning, June 24, Rev. Father Haag (sic) of Cascade united in the bonds of holy matrimony Miss Irabel Cooney and Arthur Klahn of the town of Barton. The bride was becomingly attired in white satin draped with embroidered net and wore a white picture hat. The bridesmaid, Miss Delisle Gibbons, a cousin of the bride, was beautifully gowned in brocaded silk crepe and wore a bridesmaid cap. The maid of honor was Miss Anna Suderman and wore a gown of white silk draped with shadow lace. The groom's attendants were Edward Cooney, brother of the bride, and Albert Klahn, brother of the groom. Miss Mamie Piper acted as ring bearer and Edna Klahn carried the bride's shower bouquet of white bridal roses; and the bridesmaid carried a bouquet of pink roses, while the maid of honor carried pink and white carnations.

After the ceremony and congratulations, the bridal party repaired to the home of the bride's father, Mr. Patrick Cooney, where a sumptuous wedding dinner was served to the immediate relatives.

The bride is one of Sheboygan county (sic) successful young school teachers and a lady in every respect and the groom is an industrious young farmer in the town of Scott.

May happiness and prosperity follow Mr. and Mrs. Klahn through life is the wish of their many friends. The fair bride and groom left on the evening train for a short wedding honeymoon trip.
