CHARLES KENNEDY MARRIED

Charles Kennedy, youngest son of Mr. and Mrs. John F. Kennedy, of this city, sprang a surprise on his friends here Saturday when he arrived in company with a lady who he introduced as his wife. On Wednesday, Dec. 21st, he was married to Miss Laura I. Brundage, a prominent young lady of Excelsior Springs, Mo., the wedding having taken place in the Catholic cathedral in Kansas City. The ceremony was performed by Father Fitzgibbons in the presence of no one but William and Miss Lily Brundage, brother and sister of the bride, who attended as best man and maid of honor respectively. The ceremony was performed at eight o'clock in the morning and two hours later the happy couple departed on their journey to Wisconsin. After a stay of about two weeks among relatives in this vicinity Mr. and Mrs. Kennedy return to Excelsior Springs where they intend making their future home.
