HUGHES-CONDON
On Wednesday morning, April 14, occurred the marriage of Manley Hughes of
the town of Mitchell and Miss Margaret Condon of Chicago. The ceremony was
performed at eight o'clock at Blessed Sacrament church, Chicago. Ed.
Hughes, a brother of the groom and a cousin of the bride were the
attendants. A reception was held at the home of the bride's parents at 1151
Hamlin Ave.
The bride is a highly respected young lady and will be missed by a large
circle of friends. Mr. Hughes who is well known, is an upright and
intelligent young farmer and his many friends unite in wishing him and his
bride many years of happiness and prosperity. After an extended wedding
trip, they will be at home to friends after May 1, in the Hughes homestead
where the (groom) was raised.

On Wednesday morning, April 14, at eight o'clock at the church of the
Blessed Sacrament in Chicago was solemnized the marriage of Manley Hughes of
Mitchell and Margaret Condon of Chicago. Only immediate relatives of the
contracting parties were present. The maid of honor was Miss Celia Haig, a
cousin of the bride, while Ed. Hughes, brother of the groom was best man.
The bride is a very popular and charming young lady to all who have the
pleasure of her acquaintance and has been employed as stenographer for a
large Insurance company of Chicago for a number of years while the groom is
a young man of excellent character and sterling habits and one of Mitchell's
most prosperous young farmers.
The young couple intend to reside on the
Hughes homestead which the young man purchased of his father a few years
ago. May happiness and prosperity attend the young couple on their journey
through life is the wish of the REPORTER and their many friends.
