Miss Gartman And Hilbert W. Wolfert Are Wedded Friday
In a candlelight service for which the altar of Wesley Methodist church was
banked with baskets of garden flowers, Miss Olive Grace Gartman, only
daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Richard A. Gartman, 2001 Indiana avenue, was united
in marriage to Hilbert W. Wolfert, son of Mrs. William Wolfert, 240 Monroe
avenue, Sheboygan Falls, at 8 p.m. Friday. The Rev. Daniel Stahmer of Green
Bay performed the ceremony, assisted by the Rev. Henry Johnson.
The bride wore a costume suit of chromium gray, the jacket of which was
fashioned of kidskin. Blackberry wine accessories complemented the ensemble.
Her flowers were a shoulder corsage of orchids.
Miss Anne Parrish attended her cousin as maid of honor, attired in a
blackberry wine costume suit, trimmed with fur. With it she wore minocqua
green accessories and a corsage of gardenias.
Attending the bridegroom were Joseph Kohlhagen as best man and Warren
Gartman, brother of the bride and Warren Heidenreiter as ushers.
The wedding marches were played by Mrs. Lester Reese, an aunt of the bride.
Mrs. Rexford Parrish, another aunt of the bride was the soloist, and sang "I
Love You Truly" and "Because".
A reception followed the ceremony in Wesley hall. Mr. and Mrs. Wolfert have
left on a secret wedding trip and will reside at 1126 Michigan avenue after
October 15.
