Rodney M. Gartmann Claims Miss Sharon Wolff As Bride

Trinity Lutheran Church was the wedding scene Saturday afternoon for Miss Sharon Wolff and Rodney M. Gartmann. They were married in a 3 o'clock ceremony by the Rev. Hans R. Tornow.

Candelabra and vases of pink and white gladioli on the altar were decor for the service in which the daughter of Mrs. Sally Adams, 904 Kentucky Ave., and the son of Mr. and Mrs. Harold C. Gartmann, R. 3, Sheboygan, were the bridal pair.

Numbers by Miss Caron Senkbell, vocalist, were "The Lord's Prayer" by Albert Malotte and "Wedding Prayer." She was accompanied by J. Arthur Koss, organist, who played, "Trumpet March Processional" by Henry Purcell and L. Rffy's "Wedding Recessional."

Lace and tulle were combined in the bridal gown. The sleeves were long and pointed, the v-neckline had sequin trim and the fitted bodice was made of lace. The bouffant, floor-length skirt of tulle had lace peplums with sclloped edges over an underskirt of ruffled tulle. The cap that held the fingertip veil of French illusion was designed of lace with a pearl tiara and tear drop with sequin trim. The star arrangement of stephanotis and ivy, with a white orchid center and white knotted streamers, was held by the bride. A brother, Roger Wolff, presented her in marriage.

Miss Mary Ann Zittel, cousin of the bride, appeared in a pink, scoop neckline, sleeveless dress, fashioned with a fitted bodice and bouffant ballerina, harem-style skirt with darker shade harem-type streamers and a large bow for back interest. She had a queen's crown of iridescent nylon braid with pearl teardrop. The face veil of silk illusion was attached. The headpiece matched the deeper shade of the dress.

Bridesmaid duo, Miss Anette Wondergem and Miss Phyllis Fenner, wore aqua dresses that duplicated the one of the honor aid. Their headpieces did also and the crowns were correlated with the deeper color of their attire. A white glamella centered the arrangement of pink carnations and white streamers that each held.

Two of the younger set in the procession were Linda Sue Wolff, the bride's niece, who was attired in a sleeveless dress of lace and tulle with a scoop neckline, pearls and sequins trimming the floor-length skirt in bouffant style. The headpiece of the miniature bride matched the dress. Rings were carried on a cane by Jeffrey Nelsen.

The wedding party include five other participants - Alan H. Gartmann, brother of the bridegroom, best man; Lance Beutel and Richard Kaat, groomsmen, and two ushers, William Gartmann, brother of the bridegroom, and Robert Zittel, the bride's cousin.

Supper and reception were held at Town Wilson Hall, 700 guests having been present for the meal and an additional one hundred for the other festivity. Guests from elsewhere were Mr. and Mrs. William Goell and family and Mr. and Mrs. John Sutari and family, Milwaukee; Mr. and Mrs. Norman Thielman, Fond du Lac and Mr. and Mrs. Robert Goell and family, Appleton.

Although the destination of the wedding trip is not being revealed, after Aug. 15, address of the couple will be 906 Kentucky Ave. The bridegroom is employed at V & M Mink Ranch.
