Miss Elizabeth Yochis Is Bride Of Roman Mersberger

In Immaculate Conception church at 9 a.m., Saturday, Miss Elizabeth Yochis, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John Yochis, 220 S. Fifteenth street, became the bride of Roman Mersberger, son of Mr. and Mrs. John Mersberger, 1906 N. Twelfth street. The Rev. James Shlikas read the double ring ceremony and pink gladiolus, candles and a profusion of greens decorated the altar.

The bride, given in marriage by her father, was gowned in a princess styled white brocaded satin dress with a train and with clusters of pearls at the neckline. She wore a tulle veil, the crown of which was studded with pearls and fastened with orange blossoms and carried a bouquet of white Kilarney roses and freesias.

Attending as maid of honor was Miss Ann Yochis, sister of the bride, attired in a sky blue moire taffeta gown. Her flowers were a bouquet of Briarcliff roses. The bridesmaids were Miss Veronica Yochis, who wore a peacock blue taffeta dress and Miss Magdalen Yochis, dressed in a dusty rose taffeta gown.

The bridesmaids carried arm bouquets of mixed flowers and all the attendants wore floral headbands. Peter Norris was the best man and Sylvester Mersberger and Wilfred Juckem were the groomsmen.

Mrs. A. Zupancich, Jr., played the bridal march on the organ.

A breakfast at the home of the bridegroom's parents followed the ceremony and a dinner was given at Kneevers' hotel for the immediate families. A supper was given at the "99" hall for 100 guests after which a reception was held. Out-of-town guests from Marion, Ind.; Fond du Lac, Chilton and Oostburg attended.

Having returned from a short honeymoon, the bride and bridegroom are making their home at 1906 N. Twelfth street.
