Peter & Catherine {Gates} Glass

This is a picture of my g-g-great grandparents, Peter & Catherine {Gates} Glass. Catherine Gates was a sister to Adam Gates. In this photo she is wearing a dress made from material that Peter had purchased in Paris where he had been displaying some of his woodwork pieces. In this 1868 picture, she is also pregnant with her daughter, Mary Elizabeth Glass, who was born Jan. 22, 1869.
