St. Michael's Catholic Cemetery, Town of Mitchell

Location: T14N R20E NE1/4 of NW 1/4, Section 21. From village of Waldo drive directly west--take Highway 28 but continue west on Co. Trunk V to the end of the road. Turn left on Scenic Drive; church and cemetery are 1/4 mile south on west side of road. Well-kept and maintained. Active church and cemetery.

This is an old Irish cemetery and one of the church members, Francis Slattery has done extensive research on the history of the area and its people. Information copied here is from the gravestone inscriptions plus additional information supplied by Mr. Slattery in parenthesis. [This is not true on this copy - Kay R] [Most of the items supplied by Mr. Slattery are the maiden names and the Misc. Information - Kay R.]

Each row starts near the church, but at times it is difficult to define the rows -- they do not run true, merging and separating at will. An attempt has been made to type up some semblance of rows

{This cemetery was transcribed by Kay R.}
