The 91st birthday of Mrs. Amalie Erbach who resides at 1738 N 8th St was celebrated Tuesday, when relatives and friends gathered at her home in honor of the occasion.
Flower, gifts and greetings were received by the nonagenarian.
An advance observance of the anniversary was held Sunday, when out-of-town relatives from Milwaukee were her guests. Her son, Max, his wife and their family, Mr and Mrs Charles Bellmer and three daughters were present.
Germany was the birth place of the former Amalie Lambrecht, daughter of Mr and Mrs John Lambrecht, April 10, 1865. Her marriage to Frederick T Erbach occurred there also and with him and their oldest daughter, Mrs Erbach came to America in May 1892, settling in Sheboygan. This city has been her place of residence continuously since her arrival. She is a member of Bethel Church.
Two daughters in the family are Mrs Margaret Guenther, who teaches at Sauk Center, Minn and Mrs Magdalene Pirolo of Sheboygan. There also are 18 grandchildren, and the same number of great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.
Mrs. Erbach lives alone and maintains her own household. She is in good health. During the summertime, she enjoys gardening and spends much time in that endeavor. When unable to be out-of-doors, her hobby is tatting, which she is able to do without the aid of glasses. She also keeps informed on all local and world events by means of radio and the newspaper.
In 1931, Mr. Erbach died. One daughter, Mrs. Martha Nass and two sons, Frederick and Milton also are deceased.
