The Sheboygan Press - February 6, 1926

Mr. and Mrs. T. F. Volk entertained a company of relatives Thursday evening at their home Edna St. in the observance of the latter's birthday anniversary. The home was effectively decorated. Crystal candle holders and vases tied with valentine red tulle containing red candles and red carnations were used throughout the rooms, while hearts and Valentines in profusion added an artistic touch. Bunco and Schafskopf were played, prises {sic} in bunco being won by Kathryn Mack and Mrs. T. F. Franey. In Schafskopf T.F. Franey and R. A. Suhrke were the lucky winners. After the game, a delicious repast was served by the hostess assisted by Mesdames R. A. Suhrke and J. Wieman. The appointments at the table were Valentine theme keeping with St. Valentine's day. The out of town guests were: Mr. and Mrs. J. Wieman, Mr. and Mrs. T. Wesendorf, Mrs. Louis Wesendorf and Miss Kathryn Mack of Sheboygan Falls. Mrs. Volk was the recipient of many attractive gifts. The guests departed at a late hour, wishing their hostess many happy returns of the day.
