Sheboygan Girl Drowns Friday In Rain Barrel
Sheboygan, Wis. - (AP) - A two year old girl drowned Friday in a rain barrel in her backyard.
The body of Celeste Pearson, daughter of Mrs. Jennie Pearson, was found partially submerged in three feet of water.
The Sheboygan county coroner, Dr. James F. Hildebrand, ruled death was accidental.
Had 2 Wives, Now Has None
Milwaukee - (AP) - The Milwaukee traveling salesman who had two wives, two homes and two jobs is getting his life
simplified. The legal wife of 33 year old John Reihman was granted a divorce in Sheboygan yesterday, on grounds of
adultery.
Last Thursday he had his marriage to his second wife annulled.
Reihman's double life was discovered last August when an aunt informed his second wife that he already had a wife in
Sheboygan Falls. At that time Reihman was working nights in a liquor store to help pay his twin household bills.
He pleaded guilty to charges of adultery and in September he was placed on three years' probation.
Youth's Death Blamed On Acute Alcoholism
Sheboygan (AP) - George Schmeiser, a Sheboygan tavernkeeper, was charged Monday with serving liquor to an 18-year-old
boy who died Feb. 10 of acute alcoholism.
Schmeiser is agent for the Sheboygan Gymnastic Society, which operates the bar at Turner Hall.
Harvey Beck of the Town of Sheboygan Falls had attended a wedding party at the hall Feb. 9. He died at home the next
day, and an autopsy showed death was due to acute alcoholism.
Drowned In Washing Machine
Sheboygan, Wis. (UP) - Robert J. Justinger, 2-year-old son of Mr. and Mrs. Bernard Justinger, was drowned Tuesday
when he tumbled into a washing machine.
Dr. Reed Simpson, Sheboygan County coroner, said the youngster climbed onto a box in the basement of his home and fell
into the machine while Mrs. Justinger was upstairs in the kitchen.
