MORGAN.
Correction:-The Willing Workers were entertained at
the home of Mrs. Bertha Nichols Nov. 12.
Refreshments were served on plates 100 years old.
This community was greatly shocked and saddened on Friday, Nov. 19,
to hear of the death of Edgar Bowen. He was in the
woods at work and about to leave for dinner when a
tree was blown down, striking him, and he was found
a short time later by his hired man in an
unconscious condition. He was taken to his home,
where he died at about five o'clock. The funeral and
interment were at North Troy.

The funeral services of the late Thomas A. Brown, held at the Roman
Catholic Church last Sunday afternoon, were not the
full burial services. A solemn requiem mass will be
celebrated later.
Emma (Lavoie) Cheverier - Essex County

Mrs. emma Chevrier
Mrs. Emma Cevrier, wife of Martin Chevrier, died Friday, February
24th, after a lingering illness of a years'
duration, followed by pneumonia. She had recently
returned from the Catholic Hospital in Sherbrook,
Que., where she had been five weeks for treatment.
She was born at Norton Mills June 9, 1894 and when 18 years of age,
married Martin Chevrier, who with five children will
deeply mourn the loss of a devoted wife and mother.
Funeral services were held in St. James Church, Monday, February
27, Rev. Fr. Therrien officiating, and the body
placed in the vault to await burial in the spring.
Virginie (Leblanc) Lavoie - Essex County

Mrs. Vinegine Lavoie
Mrs. Vinegine Lavoie died at the home of her daughter Mrs. Martin
Chiverier, Tuesday, June 14, at the age of 76 years.
She was of aking and loving disposition. Mrs. Lavoie was a widow,
her husband having died 28 years ago.
She leaves to mourn her loss, five daughters, two sons and one
sister-in-law, Mrs. Pitre Rivard of Berlin, N. H.
Interment was in the Catholic cemetery. the bearers were, Mr.
Simard d. Chiverier, M. Wood and Mr. Powel.
Webster, Russell Essex County Herald
(VT), Oct. 9, 1919
West Medway, Mass., Sept.-Russell Webster, who with his wife, has
made his home at the Shumway farm, died this
morning. For several months, he has been confined to
his bed, as the result from a fall from a load of
hay at Island Pond over four years ago which caused
concussion of the brain and hardening of the
arteries.
