There was a Methodist Episcopal South Church located near where Henry Link's grave is located. It was used until after the War Between the States. The church was closed. It is not known how many people were buried near the church. However, Henry Link's is the only one that is presently there. It can be seen from Sunny Ridge Road in Northeast Floyd County.

Find A Grave note: Henry Link was the son of Johann Nicholaus Link and Anna Margaretha Eisceken Link. He married Mary Winter in Rockbridge Co. VA 01 November 1811. He married Rebecca Likens on 14 February 1842, in Floyd. The known children by the first marriage were: Paulas, Rebecca and David.
