Notes: From Tracy
C.: A
couple of interesting facts about this cemetery. There are 2 memorial
markers. Susanne Pofandt Flint 1934- 2008 was cremated, and ashes were not
buried here but there is a stone. The other is Glen B Phillips 1945- 1987. He
is buried at Big Sand Cemetery, but they did a double stone with his spouse.
Since he died relatively young, I assume the wife remarried or moved... They
moved the double stone to this cemetery and replaced it at Big Sand with a
single stone. The owners of the house are James Flint and Erma (Phillips) Reed Flint. Susanne was the first wife of James Flint and Glen was Erma's brother. It may be confusing when people visit there that the stones are located in the cemetery. |
