BOYD, Virgie Keith, 86, of Laurel Fork, died Thursday, February 13, 1997, in a Galax hospital. Surviving are two daughters and sons-in-law, Claudia and Cleo Light of Willis, and Nannie Mae and Lester Wood of Meadows of Dan; one son, Earnie Boyd of Christiansburg; a daughter-in-law, Geraldine Boyd of Woolwine; five grandchildren; five great-grandchildren, and one sister, Lala Moles of Laurel Fork. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday at Wood Funeral Home in Floyd, with the Rev. Byron Childress officiating. Interment will be in the Boyd cemetery. There will be no night visitation at the funeral home. Friends may call any time at the homes of Mrs. Light and Mrs. Wood.
