Find A Grave Name: Bishop – Gardner, High Hopes Lane NW, Riner, Floyd Co., VA

Located Inside Fence Next to Thompson Cemetery on Rt #738 Off Rt #750; aka Bishop Cemetery

Coordinates: 37.00830, -80.44820

Cemetery ID: 2396241

This is a small family cemetery and is actually two cemeteries in a fenced area.

This cemetery is located on Easter Creek Road near its intersection with High Hopes Lane. This intersection is off of Mt. Elbert Road. Before the roads were named for the Rescue Squads this was known as Route 738. To get to this cemetery it is best to follow Route 8 from Christiansburg. After crossing the Little River Bridge into Floyd County continue on Route 8 for approximately 2-3 miles and turn right onto Route 750. There is a little white house right on the road at the intersection of Route 8 and Route 750. Follow Route 750 for approximately 1-2 miles and turn right onto 738. There are actually two entrances to 738 as it circles around and comes right back out onto 750. The first intersection of 738 with 750 is a paved section of the road and that one is probably closer to the cemetery. The cemetery is on a small hill and has chain link fencing around it.
