The Richmond office has an overnight delivery vital check system. You use the telephone and a credit card to order the record. In 3-5 days, they overnight the record to you. You can access this by calling (804)644-2723.

You need to provide the following information (as best you can) to obtain records:

- full name of person (including maiden name)
- sex and race of person
- place of event - date of event
