Searching for information about Charles and Emma Haarala who ran a boarding house in Clearcreek Utah for miners in the early 1900's. They moved to Astoria after the birth of a daughter in 1910.
Emma died April 18,1934 in Astoria,Oregon at age 58.Charles died in Astoria in 1949.
Emma's parents were Jack Kaajala and Maria Pakka. Any information about Charles and Emma's parents and where in Finland they were from would be appreciated.

my daddy moved back to jacksonville tx. for several years where my grandfather passed away then later so did my grandmother daddy stayed in the house and tried his best to take care of her in her at home until she passed away as well shortly after that he moved back to the houston area now i'v lost touch with him i don't know how to go about finding him and i can't afford to pay someone to do it for me please help me find my daddy!!!!

Lääni, Finland and departed for Amerika in 1882
with his Mother "Johanna" who was aged 68y then.
Probably, these 2 went to Munising or Ishpeming, Upper Penninsular, Michigan
where his older "Korpela" Brother & Sister was. He may have changed his name to "Korpela".
My indisputable Info is from "Pyhäjoki" Finnish Evangelical Lutheran Church parish
Birth, Christening, Marriage, Death records. There
was a "Henry & Helen Korpela" whom I met at their home in Des Moines, Iowa in 1975. "Henry" was an Independent Insurance Agent. "Helen" told me that there had been a very old
Grand Aunt. "Helen" told me that "Emanuel" had gone out in a snowstorm on New Years Eve Dec 31, 1892 and disappeared. Church records in 1938, he was legally judged dead as of 1.1.1893. But, I think, in that he was only 35 years old then, he may have relocated
with a name change to "Korpi" or "Korppi" and started another Family
with another Woman. He had already, in 1882, left
his legal wife "Augusta" (Kittilä) *1858 with 2 children: (see "migrationinstitute.fi")
"Fanny Sofia" *1879/80 & "Johan [Jussi]*1882 in "Pyhäjoki". Both these came to "Hyannis" (W.Yarm, MA) & W. Barnstable, MA as young adults: "Fanny Korppila" came in 1899, married "Mathias Perämäki [Maki], had 4 Kids & +died 1940 in West Yarmouth, MA & "Jussi Korpela" came in 1902 (killed by Boston-Hyannis Train 7:30-7:45 PM Feb 1903 in West Barnstable at Rt 149 RR Crossing east of Station.

Simon WEIDENHEIMER came to this country from Baden area of Germany in 1844. Arrived Carbon County before early 1850. His daughter Mary Elizabeth WEIDENHEIMER b 1850 married Cornelius BOYER. Son George Simon WEIDENHEIMER b 1857. Simon's first wife Wilhelmina SCHLAMP d. 1857. Simon Married Wilhelmina's sister, Elizabeth. They had 10 children. Simon had brothers who also came to this country. I am looking for contact with all descendants.
