TERRACE CEMETERY
OWNER: SEXTON:
Was an old RR town cemetery.
Terrace was once a quite large town, starting in 1869, and running until the railroad bed was changed to cross the lake, which was in the early 1900's. Terrace was a large maintenance and repair shop facility, and so many people were employed there to repair engines. The Bureau of land management now has oversight of the old town location, and it's possible they may have some better cemetery records. According to a book on ghost towns, lost gold and such legends, there is a cemetery with 60 graves at Terrace on the hill above town.
