Lloyd Carter Funeral services for Lloyd Carter, 67, of Markham, Texas, will be held at 1 p.m. on Saturday, October 9, 2010, at Pleasant Green Missionary Baptist Church with the Rev. M. L. Jones, officiating. Burial will follow immediately after service at Markham Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4 until 8 p. m. Friday October 8, 2010. Final arrangements are entrusted to Green's Mortuary, (979) 245-3489. Bay City Tribune, October 6, 2010 Lloyd Nolan Carter On March 29, 1943, a baby boy was born to the late Lloyd Carter Sr. and Norma Carter whom they named Lloyd Nolan Carter. Eagerly awaiting his arrival in heaven are his mother, father and brother. Lloyd departed this life on Friday, October 1, 2010 at his residence. Lloyd leaves to cherish his memories, a loving wife of 30 years, Gloria Boone Carter; sons Michael Boone (Courtney) of Markham, Texas and Shawn Anthony (Sharanda) of Baytown, Texas, Lloyd Carter, Jr. of Tulsa, OK; one brother Johnny Lynn Carter (Billy) of Liberty, Texas; one sister, Diana Carter of Liberty, Texas; brothers-in-law, Leroy Boone (Patty), and Bennie Boone (Cindy) both of Markham; sisters-in-law, Ina Wilcox, China Dillion (Ray) both of La Marque, Texas and Evda “Dee” Smith of Cedar Lake, Texas; six grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends. Special friends Roger Braxton, Lionel Henderson, Sylvester Boone, John Pratt, Pete Media, Lilly White and Rachel Harris.

Mr. Donnell Collins was the first child of the late Mrs. Beulah Mae Collins, born on January 28, 1948. At an early age he confessed Christ. He attended public school in Markham, Texas. He united June 16, 1968 in marriage to Miss Sandra Kay Lewis and to this union five children were born. He leaves to mourn his homegoing his wife, Mrs. Sandra Collins, two daughters, Cheryl and Paulette, three sons, Gregory, Derrick and Donnell, Jr., three brothers, A. D. Collins, Billy Gray and Judge Gray, four sisters, Mrs. Lola Hubbard, Miss Linda Gray, Miss Madlean Gray and Miss Erma Gray, a stepfather, Mr. Judge Gray, a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Services were held Saturday, February 11, 1978, 2:00 p. m., at Pilgrim Rest Baptist Church in Markham, Texas, with Rev. Melton R. Lewis, officiating.

Mamie L. Reddic Coulter Mamie L. Reddic Coulter, the daughter of Mrs. L. E. Reddic and the late Mr. Sylvester Reddic was born on October 22, 1941 in Matagorda County, Texas. She united with Pilgrim Rest Baptist Church in Markham at an early age under the leadership of the late Rev. A. J. Williams. She was married to Norman Coulter. To this union three children were born, David Wayne and tao daughters, Remona and Alletha Faye. Mrs. Mamie L. Reddic Coulter passed on December 2, 1972 at 5:15 in Matagorda General Hospital, Bay City, Texas. She leaves to mourn her passing her husband, Norman Coulter, one son, David Wayne; two daughters, Remona and Alletha Faye; Mother, Mrs. L. E. Reddic of Markham; four brothers, Billy Isaac of Houston; Will and Callie of Markham and a host of relatives and friends. Services were held Thursday, December 7, 1972, 2:00 p. m. at the Pilgrim Rest Baptist Church in Markham, Texas, with Rev. H. T. Aldridge officiating.
