Lucy Harrison Sister Lucy Harrison, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Wanda Farris, was born August 13, 1898, near Cedar Lane, Texas. She confessed Christ at an early age under the leadership of Rev. Joe Wren, Mt. Pilgrim Baptist Church. She was married to Mr. Watt Woolsey to this union two daughters were born, Mrs. Pearl Jones of Markham, Texas, Mrs. Eliza Sampson of Oakland, California. After the death of Mr. Woolsey she married Dec. Henry Harrison in 1923 who preceded her in death. She leaves to mourn 2 daughters, 1 sister, Irene Green, 1 brother, Moses Farris, 5 Grandchildren, Loraine, Hermon, Willie Jr., Ronnie, Matt Earl., 3 great-grandchildren, Vincent, Tammi, Robert Anthony and host of relatives and friends. Funeral services were held at Pilgrim Rest Baptist Church, Markham, Texas, with Rev. H. T. Aldridge officiating.

Funeral services are pending for Doretha “Peter” Hester, 47, of Houston. Ms. Hester was born Aug. 10, 1946, in Markham and died April 19, 1995 in Ben Taub Hospital in Houston. She was a member of Jehovah’s Witness. She is survived by a daughter and son-in-law, Vickie and Oscar Townsel of Galveston; a son, Ricky Hester of Houston, her mother, Eddie Steve Dunbar of Bay City; two sisters, Eddie Marie “Bunchie” Dunbar and Mary Durgan, both of Houston; two brothers, Edgar “Mickey” Dunbar of Houston and Ricky Dunbar of Killeen; and a host of nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. Services are pending with Jackson Funeral Home of Houston.
