Sno Jo "Mimi" McCall

Sno Jo McCall
Nov. 19, 1954 - July 15, 2005

Sno Jo McCall began her life’s journey November 19, 1954.

After a courageous battle with breast cancer leukemia, she left this world to be present with her Lord on July 15, 2005.

Sno was the youngest of four children born to James C. and Jean Harris (now deceased) in Bay City, Texas.

She graduated from Bay City High School in 1973.

Giving her life to Jesus at an early age, she served him faithfully during her lifetime.

She is survived by: her loving and devoted husband, Arno Jack McCall.

They were married October 3, 1980, and made a home together in the Richmond area.

She is loved and survived by: her precious daughter, Ashley Clair Cooley, husband Chet and grandson Carson, who reside in Tyler, Texas; stepchildren, Kristen Lyle, husband Mike and granddaughters Kimberly and Kortney, Karen Kimble, husband Mike and grandsons Jack, and Luke and Kevin McCall and wife Cynthia; sisters, Pat Pool and Carolyn Bartlett; brother, Jim Harris; and in-laws, Jack and Gladys McCall of Houston, Texas.

Sno was employed by Lamar Consolidated ISD, and worked in BF Terry’s attendance office.

Over the course of many years, she served others by volunteering for numerous charity organizations in Ft. Bend County.

She was “larger than life” and people gravitated to her positive and charming manner.

While often finding humor in others, she was the first to laugh at herself.

She has many family members and dear friends who will greatly miss her.

Funeral services were held at 10 a.m. on Monday, July 18, 2005, at the First Baptist Church in Richmond, Texas.

The family requests that donations be sent to Texas Baptist Encampment, P.O. Box 1265, Palacios, TX 77465, or Houston Hospice and Palliative Care System, 1905 Holcombe Blvd, Houston, Texas 77030-4123.

“He is standing on Holy Ground, and we know that there are angels all around, let us praise Jesus now, she is standing in His presence on Holy Ground.”
