This is my natural
mother Shirley Ann Shelton Wester (the taller one in the photo on the
right)
with Florence Clountz's neice Maxine Perdue at a carnival in Pottsboro,
Texas in the late 1950s.
The
younger pictures are of Shirley also.
Henry
S Clountz is related to Shirley; and he and Florence raised
Shirley
for years in their home before her marriage to Calvin Wester in
1958.
When they divorced, Shirley and I (Natalie Wester the daughter) came
back
to live with the Clountz's. They eventually adopted
me
- Natalie
- in November 1963.
