WILLOW SPRINGS SCHOOL
This school, located on the Flowing Wells Rd. five miles west of Pottsboro, started in a 1-room building, as the enrollment increased, a second room was added and later a third room. In 1928 -1929, the original wooden structure was torn down and a new building with 3 classrooms and a supply room was erected. In 1950 the third building, constructed of brick, replaced the second wooden structure. It is used by some grades of Pottsboro School System. Plans are being made for all grades to be on the Pottsboro campus by 1982.
