- Services for Mrs. Mae Tree, 86, who died Tuesday at a Denison
hospital, were held at 10:30 a.m. Thursday at Mullican-Little
Funeral Chapel, conducted by Connie Hollis, Church of Christ minister
of Leonard. Burial was at Crossroads Cemetery.
She was the daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Buck Bowman. She married the late Charlie Tree March 26, 1902, in Nobility. She was a member of the Church of Christ and lived in the Whitewright community since she was nine years old. Surviving are: daughter, Mrs. Georgia Monday of Batesville, Arkansas; brother, Estil Bowman of Dallas; two grandchildren; five great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild. Pallbearers were A.W.Alberson, Don Collins, John Biggerstaff, Richard Ball, Allen Buck and Ben Bowman.
