Thursday, October 18, 1945 pg. 5 Funeral services were held at 2:30 p.m. Tuesday at the Crossroads Presbyterian Church, 8 miles south of Whitewright for Vonnie Nell Ingram, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. A.L. Ingram of the Desert community. The services were in charge of Rev. Hollis of Leonard and Rev. Cleveland of Celina. Burial was in Crossroads Cemetery, directed by Glen Earnheart. Vonnie Nell lost her life when she alighted from an automobile on the highway near her home and ran into the side of a gravel truck driven James Jones of Leonard. She was knocked to the pavement, sustaining a fatal head injury. She died while being taken to a physician's office in Leonard. Vonnie Nell was born at Desert May 9, 1936. Surviving besides her parents are a twin brother and a sister. The Dallas Morning News July 16, 1953 MRS. INGRAM BURIED Special to The News Whitewright, Texas, July 15 - Funeral services were conducted at the Crossroads Church, near Desert, Wednesday afternoon for Mrs. Argus Ingram, 39, a native of Blue Ridge, who died Tuesday at her home in the Desert community. Burial was in Crossroads Cemetery. She is survived by her husband; her mother, Mrs. Eula Saye of Westminster; a son, Jimmy Ingram, and a daughter, Juquita Ingram; two brothers, Glenn Saye of Dallas and Elmo Saye of Westminster; two sisters, Mrs. Homer DeHavens of Dallas and Mrs. James Lowery of Wichita Falls.
