Friday, October 20, 1899 pg. 3 Leslie Lee Springer, age 4, son of W.W. Springer, died near Cannon Saturday night of h ydrophobia. He was bitten by a mad dog a month ago, also a horse and dog was bitten. The horse died in 13 days. The boy was buried at Cannon grave yard Sunday.
