Shaw 1893 - 1965 The Howe Enterprise February 25, 1965 pg.3 HEART ATTACK FATAL Van Alstyne - Funeral services were held Wednesday afternoon in the First Methodist Church here for Henry Evans Shaw, 71, a retired farmer who died at his home Monday evening following a heart attack. Rev. Pete Robertson, pastor of the church, conducted the services. Flesher Funeral Home had charge of the arrangements. Mr. Shaw was born July 25, 1893 in Rosemond, son of Mr. and Mrs. Tommy Shaw. In 1920 he married Miss Fannie Bruce. He was a member of the Methodist church. Survivors include his wife; a daughter, Mrs. Helen Sprowl of Howe; a son, J.T. Shaw of Van Alstyne; and 3 grandchildren.
