Shaw 17 November 1894 - 18 September 1986 Van Alstyne Leader July 21, 1966 P.1 Addie Jefferson Shaw Services Held Addie Jefferson Shaw, a retired farmer, died in a Sherman hospital Monday morning. His Funeral service was held at 3 p.m. Tuesday in First Methodist Church in Van Alstyne, conducted by Rev. B. C. Robertson. Burial was in the Cannon Cemetery, directed by Flesher Funeral Home. Mr. Shaw was born July 30, 1892, the son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Dave Shaw. He married Miss Arrena May Ruddee April 4, 1911 in Rose Hill. He was a member of the Methodist Church in Cannon. He is survived by his wife of Van Alstyne; two daughters, Mrs. J. D. White of Waco and Mrs. Hershell Williams of Sherman; two sons, J. D. Shaw of Van Alstyne and A. J. Shaw Jr. of Sherman; two brothers, B. T. Shaw of Van Alstyne and Collie T. Shaw of Van Alstyne; eight grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
