Orr 4 March 1919 - 19 May 2009 Herald Democrat Tuesday January 17, 2006 Page: A8 VAN ALSTYNE - Services for Robinson Orr, Sr., 90, of Van Alstyne were held at 1 p.m. Thursday at Samaria Baptist Church in Van Alstyne. Mr. Orr died Saturday, January 14, 2006 at Wilson N. Jones Medical Center. Rev. James E. Petty, pastor, officiated. Burial followed at Cannon Cemetery in Cannon, Texas. Surviving are his wife, Vera Orr; sons, Robinson Orr Jr., Walter Orr and James Orr, all of Van Alstyne; and Clifford Orr of Columbia, South Carolina; daughters, Dorothy Estell of Dallas and Kathleen Johnson of Lancaster; brothers, Darrell Orr of Sherman and Cleo Orr of Dallas; sisters, Katherine Orr, Helen Davis, and Lillian Mitchell, all of Dallas; 20 grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren, 16 great-great-grandchildren and one great-great-great-grandchild.
